On Waking Up After the Time Change

Drenching rain infuses sleep –
you dream down deep
you shoot up sevenfold:

from young to old:
all seven ages of a man:
ejaculating options split and spilt

from unity: you shout them
sunny-faced and bold –
eject them with impunity:

You look like fairy tales
but brim beneath:
and sing a hydra-headed hymn:

a wail for something to unsheathe
your phallic root
to boot you into kingdom come

and gone. Oh! – to get it on.
Day light savings’
new and awkward dawn.
