Why He Was This Way
Watching linearities waft,
curving, from his head,
you thought, this time,
he might have said –
but no. Conditions,
you supposed, of being art
included utter muteness. So,
in toto, or in part,
he couldn’t have
a thing to say.
You guessed that’s why
he was this way.
