Writing Interruptus

 

Being interrupted

while you’re writing can be salutary.
Values vary when they suffer a surprise –

frequently resulting in the opening of eyes. You may

forget, without regret, what you were just about to say –
and think of things in some outrageously new way –

unexpectedly molested by unexpurgated rashness –

lingually tongue-kissed. Though sometimes
you’re just pissed.
