Two Poems Bump Into Each Other & Find a Relation

I.                   Ship of Fools
.
My relations with whatever creatures
deign to use the paltry services
I offer on my ship of fools show features
that do not align with any purposes
.
that I recall intending in whatever district
I construe them in my mind —
beyond their staunch refusal not to contradict
such truths in them as I believe I find.
.
“Divine our truths in his insipid little head?
Fat chance of that. As if he could!
Does he think he’s from whom we’re bred?”
They glare at me to think I would.
.

II.                Dyads
.
Another word for courage is heart.
Another word for heart is love.
.
Another word for love is life.
Another word for life is you.
.
Another word for you is cosmos.
Another word for cosmos is God.
.
Another word for God is everything.
Another word for everything is anything.
.
If you can forage through even one
of those dyads you have courage.
.
