On Not Needing to Write a Poem About My New Computer
It interests me
how strangely readily
I take to this technology:
I love this toy
but while its fluencies deploy
bright measures that indeed do buoy
me to make fresh starts –
acquaint me with new parts
of self, machine that do affect the arts
I wield – the newness shatters:
quickly drifts – and scatters:
that all swiftness seems quite normal is what matters.
