or even mild revelation,
the Rest of Everything
is just as interested as you.
Nothing else has ever had
your point of view.
So when you next inspect
the bottom of your foot
don’t be surprised
if something inexplicable
looks on behind you,
emitting gratified, soft sighs.
You are the Universe’s eyes.
