Poetic Mind

Compresses
and condenses
and intensifies

invokes
an anxious rapture
in the eyes –

wrestles
every last
irregularity

into a muscular
geometry –
worships

at the altar
of the infinitely said –
dies

before it has
to do another
thing instead.
