Twisted Pixies

Today was too

ridiculously rich

to tolerate.
We tried to shut it

down and start it
up again and almost

managed to succeed.
But its meticulously

fixed and wily
trickeries would not

cooperate.
Its twisted pixies

trundled in again
to breed.

They quickly mucked
what we’d done up

and made it squeal.
As usual, we had

to suck it up
and deal.
