When Vision Comes

Thoughts undress –
transgress –
express what had been less

into immeasurably more
bewilderment.
A filament of sense

becomes too dense to ascertain –
and yet the brain must entertain it.
Solipsism dollops through its

chains, and what remains
is something utterly another.
You are not the same.

When vision comes, it brings
a brother. We do not know
the mother.
