to have a friend
to sit with in the rain –
who likes it
just as gray and wet
as you do.
A friend a bit
against the grain
perhaps – oh, not
just anyone
to bump into,
but someone who
regards the spectacle
of you as something
of a big to-do,
which is,
regarding him,
what you think too.
