Sometimes you
have to take
the thing in
hand
and speak
with it and ask it
things and
listen –
until you
coalesce with it into
a fleeting
singularity –
a glisten of
intent
where
everything you’ve
brought to it
is spent,
released and
caught
by something
other than
the two of
you. Then you can
let each
other go.
