To find an azure world

may seem like a solution –

in fact, though, the profusion

of unanswered prayers does not

desist in it – in fact, to undergo

the adaptation necessary

to exist in it requires

developing capacity

for unpredictable simplicity,

born of assimilating doubt:

so that a sweet complicity

with azure can come out –

to be devout in loving

azure for its azureness

takes care of all:

the tangled ball of you untangles:

every wrinkled wrap unfurled.
