Tongue-Kiss
Hell is a very mixed bag.
So is its stepbrother, Heaven.
(Calculate infinity –
multiply by seven –
generously spread the answer
out like thick sweet jam –
take the quickest lick of it,
and belch a grand KA-BAM!
Feel the dimensional
gastrointestinal difference?)
Heaven’s a hint –
Hell is an inference.
We think we are wise
as we hem and we haw –
but we’re fogging the windows:
we jettison awe
from the central equation
we can’t seem to solve
in which Heaven and Hell
meet, tongue-kiss, and dissolve.
